Playstation One

The Playstation One (often called PSX) was introduced by Sony in 1995 as a direct competitor with the Nintendo 64 and Sega Dreamcast. This system uses a disc to play games, instead of a cartridge. The Playstation is home to several favorites, including the Resident Evil games and the Final Fantasy series.
